Title: Senior Bakery Scientist
Salary Range: 80,000 – 90,000/year
Office Location: Thomasville, GA
Travel: Requires travel up to 40%
Job Summary: The Bakery Scientist will lead medium complexity R&D initiatives to improve shelf life, reduce ingredient costs, and improve efficiency in the bakeries. Position conducts bench-top experiments and commercializes at the bakery. Partners closely with Operations, Regulatory, Finance, Brand Team and Quality. Position requires formulations for new products, product improvements, and cost savings. This role requires a self-driven and motivated professional who is both adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment. You will need the ability to effectively proactively work on development projects while dealing with ambiguity and constant change. It also requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect effect on product safety, legality and/or quality.
