    Strong Arm Baking started as a home-based business 10 years ago and now operates with a 70-person team of smart, dedicated, talented individuals.

    We sell our products out of our shop in downtown Oxford, and to several dozen wholesale partners throughout the triangle. We also deliver 'Porch Drop', full meals and thoughtfully prepared breads and pastries to 300+ customers' homes weekly.

    We are seeking an experienced individual to join our Bread and Lamination Team. The bread bakers scale, mix, shape and bake several hundred loaves of European style hearth loaves each day, giving the utmost attention to the dough and the variable needs of the loaves they are crafting .

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Follows recipes and bread production methods with attention to detail. 
    • Works efficiently and with a sense of urgency. 
    • Effectively utilizes measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers and ovens, and other tools to bake bread. 
    • Accurately prepares raw ingredients and equipment for baking. 
    • Evaluates raw ingredients and baked breads to ensure Strong Arm Baking standards are met and informs management of any quality control issues. 
    • Complies with all health and safety guidelines. 
    • Keep a close watch on those loaves in the oven, making sure they come out looking and tasting top-notch. 

    Compensation based on experience. Health benefits, paid vacation, retirement, daily meals and other benefits.
